Harrison Youmans, MD, practices primary care sports medicine at Orlando Health. He is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Youmans earned his degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After completing a family medicine residency at Trident Medical Center and the Medical University of South Carolina, he continued his training and specialization with a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Prior to joining the team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Dr. Youmans practiced at the Arnold Palmer Sports Health Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, where he cared for patients of all ages who had acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, as well as other sports-related injuries and medical issues. In addition to his practice, he also served as the medical director at Loyola University in Baltimore. Dr. Youmans currently serves as a team physician for the Orlando City Soccer Club. He is also actively involved in many professional organizations, including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Sports Medicine.
