Lawrence Spack, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He is board certified in pediatric critical care and general pediatrics. He also serves as medical director for Pediatric Critical Care Services and is chief quality officer for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer. In addition, he sits on a number of committees for Orlando Health.

After earning his medical degree from Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Dr. Spack completed his general pediatric residency training at University Hospital Stony Brook, Stony Brook, New York. He went on to complete his fellowship training in pediatric critical care at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin/Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

In 2010, Dr. Spack received the Exemplary Physician Colleague Award from Orlando Health as voted by the nursing staff. He is passionate in his approach to caring for children, treating each and every child as if they were his own.

Dr. Spack is an associate professor at Florida State University College of Medicine. His areas of clinical interest include sepsis awareness and treatment, submersion injury in children, and minimizing anxiety and pain during hospitalization.

In his free time, Dr. Spack enjoys spending time with his family, loves to travel and has a passion for home improvement projects.
